At the CODiE Awards, we are committed to delivering a smooth, transparent experience for all participants. The policies below outline what to expect after you submit a nomination, including our refund, delivery, and cancellation terms.

Entries & Category Placement

CODiE Awards reserve the right to reassign nominations to a more appropriate category with the consent of the nominees.
Prior to the start of the judging phase, any nomination deemed a poor fit in a category that cannot appropriately fit into any other category will receive a refund.

Nomination Eligibility

Products must be live (not beta) by when the first-round judging begins. Beta products interested in a judge review prior to launch can participate in an ad-hoc review.
Each product must be nominated separately, but a product can be nominated in any applicable category.
Different products from the same company may be nominated in the same category as appropriate.
Nominations may be made by the product developer, agencies, investors, etc.

Nomination Payments

All nominations are submitted through our secure OpenWater platform. Online payments are made in USD and processed by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Link, and Apple Pay.

Refund Policy

Nomination fees are non-refundable once submitted, as they cover administrative processing, judge coordination, and product evaluation services.
If you believe you submitted a nomination in error or require special consideration, please contact us at [email protected] within five (5) business days of submission. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery of Services

Once your nomination and payment are received, your entry is considered fulfilled. Key milestones include:

Confirmation of nomination and payment
Assignment of expert judges to review your product
Delivery of expert review feedback upon completion of the first round of judging
Participation in the community vote if your product advances to the finalist round (as per the published timeline)
Finalist and winner assets—such as badges, press release templates, and digital certificates—will be delivered electronically to the primary contact on file for nominated entries that advance to subsequent rounds.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to withdraw a nomination, contact [email protected] before judging begins
Withdrawals made prior to judge assignment may be eligible for partial credit toward a future CODiE Awards cycle, at the discretion of the CODiE Awards team
Once judging is underway, cancellations are not eligible for refunds or credits
If you are accepted as a judge but are unable to participate, please notify us as soon as possible so we can reassign your evaluations.
